CBS’s The Unit & the French
Editorials - Tweet this! May 19th, 2006To the delight of columnists like Adam Buckman, the CBS series The Unit indulges in Anti-French slurs. First off, Adam Buckman of the New York Post writes “You have to love a show that’s so disdainful of the French.”
But what is more worrysome, is not so much the throwaway comments of a New York Post columnist, but the slurs in the dialog put forth by The Unit.
- “Little froggy took us to the cleaners,”
- “I’m gonna knit me a little comforter that says I got shot trusting the frogs!”
